TRIBUTE to class of 66

It was wonderful to see so many old friends the other night. We had an extraordinary few years together! Somehow, some serendipitous confluence of events conspired to make our grad year a very special one. Was it the fact that were a large movement of baby boomers? Was it that it was on the beginning edge of a huge cultural change? Was it the unique combination of personal skills, be they artistic, or athletic or organizational that produced such a lively and accomplished grad class? We not only had strong athletes on the basketball teams and track teams, but they played to large and enthusiastic crowds. Our life centered around the sports and dances and activities that were was happening at the school. I think that it was unique to our time and place.  Certainly, it was a very important time in our lives. The fact that we still love to get together 60 years later is testament to that love.

We were blessed to be together for that “lightning in a bottle”  year.
