Barb Smart (Hunter)

Don was a wonderful, affectionate husband and father, who gave unconditional love to his family and friends.  He was a kind, genuine sole, a 'steady on' human being who was always ready to help anyone and share his multitude of skills, talents and interests.  His passion for music, skiing and his ability to “fix just about anything” made him a unique individual.  He loved that driving sound of pounding drums and squealing guitars, and he had a great ear for emerging musical talent. For 43 years he owned and operated a successful Yacht maintenance company. In 1976  he became known as the “Yacht Doctor.” He was respected for his exceptional expertise, reliability and loyalty to his clients, many of whom became good friends. Don - a rare gem in a world of unpolished 'stones'.

Barb, what a beautiful tribute.   I didn't really know Don but now I wish I had known him.   He sounds like a beautiful person.
