FAIRWEATHER, George Edwin
August 8, 1948 - March 20, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our eldest son, George. He is survived by his loving parents Beverley and David, his sister Susan (Jamie Morley) and family, his brother Ian (Dianna) and family. We would like to thank the Doctors and staff of the Northshore Hospice for their compassion and kindness. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.

I was hoping to see George at the reunion. We grew up on the same street(Ross Crescent)

And played together almost every day til I moved to the big city of West Van and started

Grade 7 at Pauline Johnson.  Very sad

I am so sad to hear that George has passed. I lived at the corner of Stearman and Marine Dr and George lived at the other end of Stearman in a lovely big white house.

I was also hoping to see him at the reunion. RIP George.

I cannot believe that such a gentle natured, caring guy has passed and only last month. George sat across from me in Mr. Daly's English Class. He was always happy and smiling.  He used to walk me home when we both lived on Sinclair and his family invited me to picnic with them.  For some reason he had to have some surgery in grade 12 and I remember going to see him at his home that summer.  What beautiful memories I have, as our time together, as friends.
